Cookie Policy

Effective date: 2 June 2026

1. Purpose

This Cookie Policy explains how DocRide Tech Ltd uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on our website and platform. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device. Local storage is browser-based storage used to remember interface preferences. Some technologies are essential; others require consent under PECR and UK GDPR.

3. Cookies and storage we use

Type Purpose Examples Consent
Essential session cookies Keep users logged in and maintain secure sessions. Django session cookie; typical duration up to 2 weeks unless changed. Not required.
Security cookies Protect forms and AJAX requests from cross-site request forgery. CSRF token cookie. Not required.
Cookie consent preference Remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. Browser localStorage key docride_cookie_consent_v1 (values: essential or analytics); no expiry until cleared. Not required (stores your choice only).
Workflow/preference storage Remember interface preferences, tab state, checklist display mode, risk-assessment matrix preferences and help-message choices. Browser localStorage; workflow cookie such as sb_refine_completed. Usually not required where strictly functional; otherwise consent may be required.
Analytics cookies Understand website usage, pages visited and performance. Google Analytics (measurement ID G-197L6VEJHG); typical cookies include _ga and _ga_*. Loaded only after you click Accept analytics. Consent required.
Payment provider cookies Enable secure Stripe checkout and fraud prevention when payment pages are used. Stripe cookies and device identifiers. May be essential for payment security.

4. Google Analytics

Our public website uses Google Analytics only if you choose Accept analytics on the cookie banner. Until then, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and analytics cookies are not set.

If you accept, analytics information may include pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location, referral source and interactions with the website. We configure IP anonymisation and do not enable advertising personalisation signals in this integration.

Google may process data in the United States or other countries. See our Privacy Policy and International Data Transfers addendum.

5. Your cookie choices

When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose Essential only or Accept analytics. You can browse the site without choosing; analytics cookies are not used until you accept.

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer, or the button below. If you withdraw analytics consent, we reload the page so Google Analytics stops on that device.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, payment, form submission or platform features from working correctly.

6. How we apply your choice

  • Essential only — session, security and strictly necessary platform cookies only; no Google Analytics.
  • Accept analytics — essential cookies plus Google Analytics as described above.
  • No selection yet — treated the same as essential only for analytics (no Google Analytics loaded).
